BENJAMIN RASMUSSEN believes in the subtle and profound elements of the yoga practice and is continually inspired to share the teachings with students and fellow teachers.  While his own personal practice began in 2004 and still is Iyengar influenced he has practiced various forms of Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Restorative Yoga over the years.   He initially received his foundational training at OM Yoga Center in 2009 and has been teaching yoga for ten years.  He holds a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Minnesota, completed an Advanced Training with Maty Ezraty and spent four weeks of intensive study with HS Arun in Bangalore, India.  His approach to teaching is creative and thorough and is interested in making yoga accessible to those who are invested in the path of discovery.  This Inversions weekend will be built to empower everyone who attends to practice and teach these postures with confidence, clarity and simplicity.

JESSICA CHIN fell in love with yoga after her very first class and her love for yoga has only grown deeper and more profound with time. She was recovering from injuries when she reluctantly came to her first yoga class and immediately felt a difference in her body. She completed Kula Yoga Project's 200-hr Teacher Training with Schuyler Grant and Nikki Vilella; and in 2016, completed Kula's 75-hr Advanced Teacher Training. Most recently, she completed the Sacred Fig's 75-hr Advanced Teacher Training in Biomechanics with Jules Mitchell, Rebecca Ketchum, and Anton Brandt. She loves moving to the metronome of the breath and her classes are alignment-focused, creative, intelligent, and dynamic. Jessica believes that a mindful yoga practice can be a vehicle for meaningful change and transformation of the body, mind, and soul. She hopes to share her knowledge and offerings of her inspirations and passions to enable students in the discovery, possibility, and actuality of yoga (both on and off the mat).
