Attracted to yoga’s physical benefits Rebecca began practicing yoga about ten years ago. As her practice deepened with time she discovered the overflow of benefits of a daily practice not only physically, but also mentally and spiritually as well. Rebecca has over 500 plus hours of teacher training and counts Yogi Charu, Scott Harig, Maty Ezraty and Sri Dharma Mittra as some of her teachers. Inspired by many different types of yoga she strives to artfully weave elements of each into her creative and dynamic sequences. A former opera singer with a Master of Music from SUNY Purchase Rebecca takes her love of music and integrates it into her diverse playlists in class. Rebecca challenges her students to push through mental and physical boundaries in order to reach their true potential. By cultivating this strength and awareness the true healing can begin both on and off the mat, where the most important yoga happens.
